GSAM 2026 — Global Symposium on Adaptive Manufacturing

The first edition of GSAM 2026: Global Symposium on Adaptive Manufacturing will be hosted by the School of Computing, Engineering and Intelligent Systems at Ulster University, Derry~Londonderry Campus, on 7th September 2026. GSAM 2026 will be delivered in “Hybrid Mode”. The symposium aims to provide an international platform for research and knowledge exchange on the latest developments in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Industry 4.0, and Digital Twin technologies in advanced manufacturing. This symposium is organised as part of the British Council-funded project, “VIRAM: Vision Integrated Robotics for Adaptive Manufacturing.”

Submission Guidelines

How to Submit

Authors should submit an extended abstract of maximum 2 pages using the provided template.

What to Submit

  • Extended abstract — maximum 2 pages using the provided MS Word template.
  • Clearly state abstract, introduction, aim & objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions.
  • Page limit is inclusive of references and appendices.
  • Submit in Word (.doc or .docx) format via the submission portal (10 MB limit).

Review & Publication

  • Single-blind peer review by at least one programme committee member.
  • All accepted extended abstracts will be published.
  • E-certificate issued for all accepted and presented papers.
  • Oral presentations can be delivered in-person or online.

Registration & Fees

£0 registration fee — funded by the British Council Going Global Programme. One paper per registration; only the presenting author registers. Selected UK-based female students may receive travel support for in-person participation. For queries, email Dr Sagar Nikam (s.nikam@ulster.ac.uk).
